Want to learn everything possible about the season of Lent and much more? Take the time to review this Lent-special web site prepared by the archdiocesan Office of Evangelization (thanks, Sal Della Bella). I just saw it this morning and was delighted by the format.
You will find user-friendly information about ashes and the time-honored practices of the Lenten season. There are interviews with people on the street telling us why they received ashes yesterday and testimonies from folks telling us what they are giving up for Lent. There’s also a summary of all the special Lenten parish activities and even information on the famous parish fish fries. Go here to get started.
