God our Father, source of all inspiration,
in wind and fire, your Holy Spirit spoke the law to Moses,
sanctified the womb of the Virgin Mary,
and strengthened the Apostles at Pentecost.
The same Spirit speaks to us, sanctifies us, and strengthens us in our parish discernment journey.

We give you thanks for the movement of the Spirit in our parish discernment process.
We are especially grateful for the vision for our parish’s future before us,
for the many insights and ideas brought forth,
for the challenges that lie ahead,
for new opportunities to be a more vibrant and holy people,
for parish leaders and facilitators who direct this process,
for the unique gifts that each parishioner brings to our community,
and for the Eucharist that makes us one Body, united in mission.

May we continue to be guided by your Holy Spirit,
willing to do hard work,
persevere in prayer,
and be open to change.
May we reap the fruits of this discernment,
uncovering your plan for us,
encountering Christ in each other,
and entering more deeply into the mystery of Christ and His Holy Church.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God forever and ever.
