As we continue to be Church in a world of uncertainty and confusion, questions remain about the meaning and the significance of our sacramental approach to life, especially the importance of the Eucharist. Our Catholic Schools that serve to educate and form our young people may also serve as centers for addressing these questions. Catholic Schools, by design, are communities where the sacramental life of the Church may be lived and incorporated into the daily life of the school. What would it be like for our schools to become Eucharistic Communities where all aspects of school life find their source and summit in the Blessed Sacrament? What would it take to adopt such a vision for our school communities? How could we help our parents embrace this vision? How do we incorporate our non-Catholic families into this model? We will explore these and other questions as part of our ongoing reflection of what it means to be renewing our relationship with the Eucharist in this time of Eucharistic Revival.
