Kirundi/Kinyarwanda Mass

The Archdiocese of Louisville’s Office of Multicultural Ministry and its African Ministries offer a Kirundi/Kinyarwanda Mass on the 4^th Sunday of the month, at 12:00 p.m., St. Thomas More Catholic Church located at 6105 South Third Street, Louisville, KY 40214. Join Fr. Expedito Muwonge for the Mass. All are welcome! Kirundi, also known as Rundi, is a Bantu language and the national language of Burundi. It is a dialect spoken in Rwanda and adjacent parts of Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, as well as in Kenya. Kinyarwanda, Rwandan or Rwanda, officially known as Ikinyarwanda, is a Bantu language and the national language of Rwanda. It is a dialect of the Rwanda-Rundi language that is spoken in Burundi and adjacent parts of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda and Tanzania.
